The company is headquartered at 353 West Lancaster Avenue in Wayne, Pennsylvania, and reported approximately 29 full-time employees. Founded in 2015, Palvella concentrates on rare genetic, dermatological, and vascular diseases for which treatment options may be limited and where the underlying biology can involve the mechanistic target of rapamycin, or mTOR, pathway.
Palvella's central technology is the QTORIN platform, a proprietary drug-delivery approach designed to deliver active pharmaceutical ingredients locally to affected tissues. Its principal development program is QTORIN 3.9% rapamycin anhydrous gel, commonly referred to as QTORIN rapamycin. The product is being studied in Phase 3 clinical trials for microcystic lymphatic malformations, rare abnormalities of the lymphatic vessels, and in Phase 2 trials for cutaneous venous malformations. The company is also evaluating QTORIN rapamycin for additional dermatological diseases associated with mTOR-pathway activity. The platform's intended value proposition is localized treatment for conditions that can be difficult to manage with existing systemic or procedural approaches, although clinical efficacy, safety, regulatory approval, reimbursement, and commercial adoption remain important uncertainties.
Wesley H. Kaupinen, also known as Wes Kaupinen, is the founder and chief executive officer. Publicly identified leadership also includes Matthew E. Korenberg as chief financial officer, Jeff Martini, Ph.D., as chief scientific officer, and Ashley Kline in the leadership organization. Management has indicated that preparations for a potential U.S. launch of QTORIN rapamycin for microcystic lymphatic malformations include building market-access and patient-services capabilities.
Palvella is not yet a commercial-revenue-generating pharmaceutical company according to the supplied trailing-twelve-month data. Reported revenue and gross profit margins are zero, while the company remains loss-making and generates negative operating and free cash flow. The supplied figures show approximately $2.26 billion in market capitalization, enterprise value of about $2.08 billion, cash per share of approximately $17.46, and a current ratio of about 21.18. These metrics suggest substantial liquidity relative to current liabilities, but they do not eliminate the need for future financing if development and commercialization expenses continue. No detailed bill of materials, manufacturing cost per unit, commercial cost of goods sold, product pricing, or finalized launch economics were provided. As a clinical-stage company, Palvella's value is primarily linked to clinical outcomes, regulatory milestones, intellectual-property protection, manufacturing readiness, financing capacity, and the potential market opportunity for rare diseases rather than current sales.
YoYYoY means Year-over-Year. It compares the latest annual value with the previous annual value to show long-term trend strength.
QoQQoQ means Quarter-over-Quarter. It compares the latest quarter with the immediately previous quarter to show short-term momentum changes.
RevenueThe total money that came through the front door from selling things, before paying a single bill. Think of it as the grand total of every credit card swipe from customers. (YoY compares this year to last year's performance, while QoQ compares the current three months to the previous three).

Gross MarginThe basic markup. If they sell a $100 pair of sneakers, this percentage tells you how much of that price tag is profit right after paying for the rubber and shoelaces, but before paying for things like store rent or TV commercials.

Operating MarginThe 'day job' efficiency score. Out of every dollar a customer spends, this shows how many cents the company keeps after making the product AND paying for all the everyday corporate overhead (like salaries, marketing, and keeping the lights on).

Net MarginThe final take-home percentage. When you strip away every conceivable cost, tax, and interest payment, this is the exact number of cents the company truly gets to keep from every dollar in sales.

Free Cash FlowThe holy grail of corporate cash. It's the spendable, physical money left over after the business pays for its daily operations AND buys the big, expensive upgrades (like new factories or servers) it needs to survive. This is the 'free' money they can use to pay dividends or buy back stock.

FCF MarginThe ultimate cash conversion rate. It shows how good the company is at turning regular sales directly into cold, hard, spendable cash. A high percentage means the business is an absolute cash-printing machine.

Marcy Nanus: Thank you, operator. Good morning, and thank you for joining the Palvella Therapeutics' second quarter 2026 Financial Results And Corporate Update Call. As a reminder, our press release detailing today's announcements can be found in the Investors section of our website at www.palvellatx.com. On today's call, I am joined by Wes Kaupinen, our Founder and Chief Executive Officer; Dr. Jeff Martini, our Chief Scientific Officer; and Matt Korenberg, our Chief Financial Officer. Before we begin, please note that today's remarks may include forward-looking statements regarding our development programs, regulatory strategy, commercial planning and financial outlook. These statements are based on current assumptions and are subject to risks and uncertainties that could cause actual results to differ materially. Please refer to our SEC filings for a full discussion of these risk factors. And now I'll turn the call over to Wes.
Wesley Kaupinen: Thanks, Marcy. Good morning, everyone, and thank you for joining us. The second quarter marked the culmination of many years of work to pioneer and accelerate the development of QTORIN rapamycin through 2 successful clinical studies in microcystic lymphatic malformations, a serious, rare, chronically debilitating lifelong genetic disease for which there are no FDA-approved therapies. During the quarter, we achieved 3 important milestones. First, the compelling safety and efficacy results from our Phase III SELVA study, supported an in-person pre-NDA meeting with the FDA. Second, following that meeting, FDA granted Palvella rolling review, a feature available under Fast Track and Breakthrough Therapy Designation that is intended to expedite review and help bring important new therapies to patients earlier by allowing FDA to begin reviewing completed sections of the NDA before the full application is submitted. And third, thanks to the exceptional execution of the Palvella team, we completed the submission of the first module of our NDA. These milestones have brought us meaningfully closer to achieving our most important near-term corporate objective, securing FDA approval for QTORIN rapamycin. I am pleased to report today that, #1, we remain on track to complete our NDA submission in the second half of this year. And #2, we also remain on track for potential FDA approval in the first half of 2027. In terms of launch readiness, we have continued assembling the leadership required to support a successful U.S. launch. We've recruited commercial and medical affairs leaders with deep experience in rare disease and dermatology launches, and …
