(Nasdaq: ALGS), a clinical stage biotechnology company focused on improving patient outcomes through best-in-class therapies for liver and viral diseases, today announced that dosing has been initiated in the Phase 1 study of ALG-170675, an investigational next-generation antisense oligonucleotide (ASO) being evaluated for functional cure in the treatment of chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection.
