My conclusion

Micron is becoming a strategic AI infrastructure company, not just a memory cycle beneficiary.

The market should read this as a structural signal. Micron is helping a frontier lab design the memory layer, supplying the hardware, and investing in the customer. That is a deeper relationship than the usual vendor-customer link.

The main risk is still cyclicality. If memory supply loosens or Anthropic's growth slows, the value of the agreement drops. But if AI inference keeps scaling the way management wants, contracts like this are how Micron turns a hot market into a more durable franchise.
