NY AG Suing 3M, Other Chemical Companies Over PFAS Pollution
New York Attorney General Letitia James has sued 3M, EIDP Inc., The Chemours Company Inc., Corteva Inc., and DuPont De Nemours Inc. for their alleged role in decades of PFAS pollution in New York. The lawsuit claims these companies knowingly manufactured, marketed, and sold products containing toxic "forever chemicals," deceiving consumers and failing to warn about health risks. James is seeking a court order to hold the companies liable, fund cleanup efforts, and impose financial penalties for environmental and public health damages.
