Element Solutions, a Fort Lauderdale-based chemicals company specializing in electronics materials, has agreed to a $14.5 billion cash-and-stock acquisition by Solstice Advanced Materials. This deal is driven by the increasing demand from artificial intelligence infrastructure, with Element Solutions' CEO highlighting the company's strong position in the AI supply chain. The acquisition is expected to create a robust electronic materials platform, with Element Solutions shareholders owning about 44% of the combined entity.
