The company was formerly known as A-Mark Precious Metals and changed its name to Gold.com, Inc. in December 2025. Its common stock trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker GOLD. The company reported 993 full-time employees, placing it in the 501-1000 employee category, and is led by Chief Executive Officer and Director Gregory N. Roberts, who has served as chief executive of Gold.com and its predecessor companies since 2008. The business is organized around three primary operating areas. Wholesale Sales and Ancillary Services provides trading and distribution of gold, silver, platinum, and palladium in forms such as bars, plates, powders, wafers, grains, ingots, and coins. This division serves financial institutions, sovereign mints, refiners, industrial manufacturers, bullion dealers, retailers, and other professional market participants. In addition to metal trading, it offers financing, secure storage, consignment arrangements, logistics, and customized financial programs. The company also designs and produces selected minted silver products. The Direct-to-Consumer segment sells precious metals and related products through five dedicated e-commerce websites and online marketplaces. Its product range includes gold, silver, copper, platinum, palladium, numismatic coins, collectibles, and other alternative-asset merchandise. Customer acquisition and marketing may include television, radio, digital advertising, online platforms, and direct outreach. This segment is intended to serve individual investors, collectors, and retail customers seeking physical precious metals or collectible assets. The Secured Lending segment originates and acquires commercial loans collateralized by bullion and valuable numismatic coins. Borrowers primarily include coin and precious metal dealers, investors, and collectors. These loans allow the company to earn financing income while maintaining collateral protection, although the business remains exposed to credit, liquidity, collateral valuation, and precious-metals price risks. Gold.com operates internationally across the United States, North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Africa, and Australia. The supplied trailing-twelve-month data indicates approximately $1.26 billion in market capitalization, a current ratio of 1.176, debt-to-equity ratio of 0.844, return on equity of 11.5%, net profit margin of approximately 0.3%, and price-to-earnings ratio near 14.0. Its business is characterized by high transaction volumes and comparatively low reported gross margins because precious metals generate substantial sales dollars relative to the company’s spreads and service income. Inventory is therefore a major balance-sheet component, while working-capital management, inventory turnover, hedging, financing access, and customer demand are important to operating performance. Gold.com’s longer-term objective is to build an integrated platform covering the precious-metals, numismatic-coin, collectibles, and broader alternative-assets value chain.
