The company operates worldwide and is organized around subsea and surface offerings, delivering end-to-end capabilities that typically span design and engineering through procurement, manufacturing/fabrication, installation, and long-term field support.
In its Subsea segment, TechnipFMC supplies comprehensive solutions for deepwater oil and gas production and transportation. This includes production and processing systems, umbilicals, risers, and flowlines, as well as installation and ongoing support for subsea infrastructure and pipelines. The company also offers specialized vessels and asset/well services. In addition to hardware, TechnipFMC emphasizes digital and operational tooling, including its “Subsea Studio” platform intended to optimize development and operations across subsea fields.
Its Surface Technologies segment focuses on equipment and systems for onshore and shallow-water crude oil and natural gas production. Typical product areas include drilling and completion systems, wellheads and production trees, fracturing tree and manifold systems, and pressure control and flow measurement solutions. Examples cited in the provided materials include digitized systems such as “iComplete,” multiphase meter modules, in-line separation/processing units, pumps, automation, and integrity-related systems. Beyond products, the company provides lifecycle services such as planning, testing, commissioning, operations, replacement and upgrades, maintenance, intervention, integrity management, and decommissioning.
From a cost and BOM perspective (industry context), these offerings commonly involve complex engineered assemblies (steel and composite structures, pressure-control components, valves and control systems, sensors and automation, and specialized electrical/hydraulic/mechanical subsystems) plus logistics, installation engineering, and vessel or field support requirements. Large projects often require significant coordination across engineering, supply chain, and fabrication partners, with material and schedule risk managed through standardized program management practices and procurement strategies.
Financially, the provided snapshot reflects a mature, asset-and-project-driven model with significant operating cash generation relative to its valuation metrics. Reported TTM indicators include margins (e.g., gross and operating/EBIT margins) and valuation multiples (price-to-earnings and enterprise value multiples). The company also reports a modest dividend profile in the provided dataset.
Leadership is headed by Douglas J. Pferdehirt (Chair and CEO). TechnipFMC was formed by the combination of FMC Technologies and Technip, announced in 2016 and completed in 2017, and it traces earlier industry roots (with historical references to 1884) while operating under the TechnipFMC structure today.
Overall, TechnipFMC’s “wishes” and strategic direction, as reflected in its market positioning and public statements, emphasize openness to technology and serving both traditional and emerging energy needs. The provided materials also indicate partnerships related to carbon capture and storage (CCS), aligning the company’s subsea and infrastructure expertise with lower-carbon energy initiatives.

Thank you, Matt. Good morning and good afternoon. Thank you for participating in our second quarter earnings call. I'm pleased to share with you another strong set of financial results, driven by robust execution across the entire organization. Total company revenue in the period was $2.8 billion. Adjusted EBITDA was $601 million with a margin of 21.8% when excluding foreign exchange impacts. We generated free cash flow of $488 million and distributed $440 million through dividends and share repurchase, delivering on our commitment to return the majority of free cash flow to shareholders. Now moving to Subsea orders. We achieved $2.5 billion of inbound in the quarter, including 4 announced awards. Much like greenfield developments, clients are now applying a portfolio approach to brownfield expansion opportunities to improve outcomes across multiple projects. These projects leverage the significant infrastructure investment already in place as clients look to prioritize their most economic opportunities. By developing projects utilizing a consistent methodology and standardized solutions, TechnipFMC can help reduce cycle time across the portfolio of assets, significantly improving overall economics and helping clients advance projects more quickly. Var Energi's recent iEPCI awards for the Ofelia and Gjoa Nord projects in the North Sea is a great example of this approach. We will utilize our integrated model across multiple …
