Risk first: decide what you can lose before you think about winning
The half of trading that decides whether you are still here in a year, and it is one short chain: how much you may lose, where the loss is proved, how big that makes the position, and the two numbers that tell you afterwards whether any of it worked. Seven guides, about an hour, and every step is an output of the one before it.

- Start here: your first month, without losing money to avoidable mistakesThe decision this path is downstream of. That path is where you meet the argument for the index that active trading is opting out of, and the fee and compounding arithmetic any method has to beat.
- Read a price chart from scratchStep 3 asks you to place a stop where structure says the idea is wrong. That sentence is only actionable once you can read a trend and a level off a chart.

- Convert a risk-per-trade percentage into an actual number of shares or lots
- Place a stop from structure rather than from the loss you feel like accepting
- Explain why 20:1 leverage and 2:1 leverage can carry identical risk
- Score your own record in R rather than in dollars, and read the expectancy off it

- The 2% Rule, and the Second Rule Nobody CopiesTurns that arithmetic into a per-trade cap — and adds the monthly brake that almost nobody copies, without which the 2% rule still lets you lose half an account.리스크와 매매 시스템8 분 분량

- Where to Set a Stop Loss, and When to Move ItWith the risk budget fixed, the stop is the other half of the equation. Set it where being wrong is proved, not where the loss stops hurting.리스크와 매매 시스템10 분 분량
- Leverage Changes Your Size, Not Your RiskThe step that closes the calculation: with a risk cap and a stop distance, size is worked out, not chosen. Leverage moves the number, not the risk.리스크와 매매 시스템6 분 분량
- R-Multiples and Expectancy: The Only Two Numbers a Trading Record NeedsThe chain's last link, and the reason for the four steps above: once every trade risks the same one unit, results can be counted in units, and two numbers tell you whether the method has an edge at all.리스크와 매매 시스템10 분 분량
- Risk–Reward Ratio for Beginners — A Better Entry Can Change the Whole TradeThe same unit seen from the other end. Entry location and exit behaviour decide whether the R you planned is the R you actually book — which is what makes the expectancy number above move.리스크와 매매 시스템8 분 분량

How much to bet, and every way people get it wrong
You already know how to work out a size from a risk cap and a stop. This is the harder half: the size is right for a market that moves this much, it has a mathematical ceiling, and there are two very ordinary habits that quietly remove it.
